The office is manned Monday – Thursday, 08.00 until 16.00 during July-August but emails may be answered by WFH staff. Other months of the year the office is open 08:00 – 18:00 and closed for two weeks at Xmas.

AMS is now 23 years old, and I am in my 25th year of creating learning and. development opportunities, as well as facilitating development for businesses. I spent the first 20 years of my career in the reinsurance claims market, most of which morphed into the professional legacy market we know today. 2020 was a steep learning curve for us all but the current management team has proven to be resilient and loyal with a real ‘can do’ approach to everything that has been thrown at us. With a great bunch of suppliers and many supportive clients we were in a good place to step up a gear with our F2F events going again.
I have been an event management consultant since 2012, having had over 25 years of experience in the major event market. For the past twelve years I have worked very closely with AMS, on their major events programme building rapport with suppliers and clients alike. We work extremely well together. We run several international events each year and the 2020 lockdown has meant that urgent and important changes had to be made for many months of bookings already taken. But we acted quickly to reschedule major events, negotiating, rescuing and retaining client’s initial deposits whilst creating new bookings at minimal cost and maintaining business continuity for our own suppliers and contractors. I have been at AMS for more than 6 years now and I have met so many interesting and friendly people in the many areas that my work covers. It is a very fast paced environment and quite often time sensitive, but as a team we manage to keep clients happy without exhausting ourselves. Covid was a difficult 2 years and now we are back in the venues, and F2F, I am looking forward to renewing old relationships and starting new ones with our clients and suppliers.
